Let me bring you up to speed with 3D on mobile devices. In the past mobile devices adopted new technologies after they were available on PC / full screen devices. It seems like the discplay technology on small screens are more advanced than on the big screen. In other words, the holy grail of 3D “glasses free 3D” is already a reality for smaller devices such as the Nintendo 3DS. Here is the ad. Also, LG has announced its glasses-free 3D phone. See more info here including a very corny promo clip. HTC Evo´s specs were leaked today. It will have a 3D Screen, access to YouTube 3D and a 3D VOD app. We were also involved with launching a 3D streaming app for the iPad2 (glasses or Cinemizers needed). So these four examples clearly demonstrates that not only is the web going mobile but that also 3D is coming faster than expected to the small screens. I will keep you posted.
