A recent Guardian article lists many new Hollywood stars and their most recent 3D projects. In fact, 3D has become the ” default form for major studio franchises. From Transformers 3 to Pirates 4, Green Lantern to Thor, the Harry Potter climax to the Spider-Man reboot, almost any picture aiming to dominate the box office is now filmed stereoscopically.” Filmmakers like Werner Herzog, Wim Wenders, and many others are now joined by Martin Scorsese; and even Francis Ford Coppola is giving stereoscopy a try. Most notably, Hollywood Great Steven Spielberg´s “The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn,” will be released late 2011. It is a 3d animated film. Moreover, the music industry has taken notice: Pop and Rockstars like U2, Miley Cyrus, Justin Bieber are already available in the third dimension and many music acts will follow suit.
