Ingri:Dahl is a company that specializes in bringing fashion to the 3D arena. Ingri:Dahl is the brainchild of Norwegian twins, Kine and Einy Paulsen, and was started after seeing the need to have more comfortable and stylish glasses when watching 3D.
The company is located in Beverly Hills, California, and in Norway.
Our glasses have a design unlike any other brand. Our style is inspired by the old Hollywood era, mixed with some elements of the clean lines that Norwegian and Scandinavian design is so famous for.
Who is the typical Ingri:Dahl customer?
Anyone that is looking for an improved 3D experience, whether that comes to quality, comfort or style.
Our glasses can be used for any passive 3D technology, which currently used by movie theaters with MasterImage and REALD technology and certain LG, JVC, Toshiba and Vizio 3D TVs.
What are the different types of 3D technology and where does Ingri:Dahl fit in?
Part of the challenge of the growing 3D market is how to distinguish the different types of 3D technology. There are three main types: anaglyph, active and passive. Anaglyph technology is the type that has been around the longest, that people know by the red and blue glasses. The quality of this type of technology is significantly lower than the active shutter and passive technology, which are both digital 3D outlets. Whether the active is better than passive remains to be seen, but consumers are generally agreeing that the glasses used for passive technology makes it a better experience. Active shutter technology uses battery driven glasses that blacks out evey other lense in high speed, so that your eyes see different images. Finally, there is the passive technology which is the technology that Ingri:Dahl glasses are compatible with. These glasses uses polarization to create 3D, and are known to be more comfortable and arguably less straining to the eye than active shutter.
Sind die 3D Brillen nicht längst überholt? es sind doch schon ganz andere Technologien auf dem Markt und das seit letztem Jahr.
